Artist Studio Tours

Go behind-the-scenes and get up close and personal with the artistic process. Meet some of Denver’s prolific artists and learn about their work and how creative ideas come to fruition within the depths of an art studio.

PRICE: $5 for members, $10 for non-members.

HOW TO SIGN UP: Register online using the corresponding links below OR call our registration desk at 303-778-6990. Once your registration is complete, you can just show up at the gallery. Be sure to sign in with an ASLD staff member at the gallery.

RedLine’s Artist in Residence: Sammy Lee

Sammy Lee | Ability: All

Located in the RiNo art district, RedLine’s Artist in Residency two year program hosts approximately 15-20 emerging, contemporary artists. Visit Sammy Lee, a current artist in residence to learn first-hand her unique approach to bookarts, bookbinding, and “joomchi” – a traditional, intensely time intensive Korean technique of beating papers to create collages and sculptural forms.

Helikon Gallery Tour

Cayce Goldberg | Ability: All

Family owned and operated, Helikon Gallery is a 10,000 square foot repurposed warehouse comprised of two art galleries, 14 artists’ studios, coffee bar + retail space, and a class room space. Visit Cayce Goldberg, Helikon’s gallery director and studio artist. Learn more about how Cayce is a working artist, curator, and gallery owner and how he juggles all three.

Gain exclusive access to the intimate world of Ron Hicks beautiful representational and impressionistic figure paintings. Visit this nationally recognized contemporary master painter in his private studio and see where the masterworks come to life!
