A landscape, a figure, or a still life can project a mood, tell a story or capture the power of a moment in time. Whether you choose pastel, charcoal, Conté, graphite, ink, or a combination of materials, you will become technically skilled and aesthetically awakened to the beauty of drawing.

Live Anatomy: Drawing Lessons from the Masters
Joshua Fallik Ability: All Levels
Learn the visual tools and hidden secrets of the masters. We will explore and analyze the works and teachings of the great masters, who combined visual poetry with scientific knowledge. Joshua Fallik will use body paint to detail muscles on a live model, providing students with the ability to clearly see how muscles work. The body paint will help deepen your understanding of anatomy so that you can learn to depict movement, emotion and rhythm.

Figure Drawing: Literal and Abstract Approaches
Andrea Kemp Ability: All Levels
This class will explore various approaches to the nude human figure using the fundamental elements of composition. Emphasis will be placed on line quality, shapes, values and edges. Learn methods and techniques to assist you in achieving accurate proportions in your drawings. This class will present both an abstract and a structured, literal approach to the process, allowing individual students to find what works best for them.
