A Teen's Take On Reality is a weeklong pop-up exhibit conceptualized and curated by ASLD's Teen Committee. Utilizing the medium of their choice, this exhibit provides teens the opportunity to express their views about current issues and events they're passionate about. Our goal is to empower a community of young creatives who are the voices of the future.

Exhibition dates: January 30-February 6, 2026

Pick up for unsold artworks: February 6, 2026

ASLD retains a 40% commission on sales with 60% going to the artist. Online form will is available from March 16-April 6, 2026. If you have trouble with the form, you may request a PDF or fill out the form at the registration office. The submission form may close early if there is no longer space available. Payments are made to artists for sold work within 30 days after the close of the exhibit.
Medium: This exhibit is open to all media. Submissions that do not meet the theme and/or submission guidelines of the exhibit will be excluded at the discretion of ASLD and /or the exhibition curator.
ASLD EXHIBITION GUIDELINES
- Each artist must complete the Submission Form and Loan Agreement Form here for entry online or in-person at the Registration office at time of drop-off.
- Photo of artwork must be attached with this submission form
- Art work should not be larger than 12x12x12
- Work must be ready-to-hang or display.
- Pedestals will be provided if needed.
- Any additional equipment needed for display must be provided by the artist.
Artwork may be dropped off at ASLD’s Registration Office between January 20-25, 2026, 8:30AM-6PM. Please note ASLD is open from 12-5PM on Fridays and from 10AM-4:30PM on Saturday & Sunday.
- All photographs or works on paper must be framed.
- NO plastic frames. Black or neutral toned frames only.
- Frames must be in good condition.
- Works on canvas must be framed or have gallery-wrapped, finished edges with no visible staples.
- Hanging wire must be firmly attached to the back with screw-eyes or D-rings Wire should not exceed the top of the frame.
- NO saw-tooth hangers.
- It is suggested that submitted works are wrapped in protective material such as butcher paper or bubble-wrap (wrapping will not be returned).
- Submissions that do not meet theme and/or submission guidelines of the exhibit will be excluded at the discretion of ASLD and / or exhibition curator.
