Accessibility at ASLD

Accessibility

ASLD values and is committed to inclusivity in our arts community. As part of this commitment, we strive to offer our classes & events in a space that is physically accessible.

  • All of our classrooms and exhibit spaces are wheelchair accessible.
  • Main building: ramp, accessibility door, and elevator are located in the northwest corner on the basement level.
  • Annex: ramp & accessibility door are located on the north side of the building.
  • Accessible parking is located in our North lot and is allocated on a first come, first serve basis (there are 3 accessible spaces).
  • Did you know? We now have sensory tools for artists of all ages available for checkout at our registration desk. These tools can help students regulate their sensory experience and manage overstimulation in order to tune into creativity! These kits were created with support from the Autism Community Store.
  • Our visual schedule is a tool that can be used for you to know what to expect when you take a class at ASLD. Click below to open and download the PDF of our visual schedule.
