Abstraction From Nature

Have you ever wanted to work with abstraction but struggled to make the leap from representational work? In this class, we will work through a series of exercises that will give you some structure to use when dipping your toes into a new way of expression. By breaking down the process, abstraction becomes more approachable and intuitive. We will look at how using texture, movement, and zooming in on a small part of the world can help yield some truly interesting results!

This class is open to all levels. Having a flexible and curious mind is all that is needed. This is not a class that will tell you how to work abstractly, it is a class that will teach you how to THINK abstractly.
