This is a two-week clay camp.

This beginner wheel throwing class will cover the basics of centering clay on the potter's wheel. The class will focus on throwing bowls and cylindrical forms, as well as trimming and attaching handles or adornments. There will be demonstrations of various surface techniques throughout, such as adding texture when the clay is wet and layering glazes once the piece has gone through its first firing.
