Beginners will learn all parts of the sewing machine and how to use it safely. Advanced beginners will review the machine and threading instructions. By stitching on straight and wavy lines students can increase eye/hand coordination and control. In the first class students will complete a small, pieced strip "quilt." They will learn how to use a serger and serge the seams and outside edges. No machine experience is required for this class. Continuing students who have taken my class at least once or more can choose a project appropriate for their skill level such as: a stuffed animal, dress, jumpsuit, skirt, vest, jacket, messenger bag, backpack, etc.
