In this class students will deconstruct a man’s suit jacket or trousers using only a seam ripper. All the pieces must maintain their shape and be kept intact. The student will hand sew the separate pieces back together to create a different item. New items are made by layering, overlapping, gathering, using a variety of stitches etc. The only constraint is the pieces cannot be cut into a different shape.
All supplies are included in the materials fee and will be provided at ASLD.
