Understanding color theory in one of the most efficient ways to improve your artwork, but it can feel daunting and difficult to understand. This first part of a three-part course is an in-depth but beginner-friendly class that will help you relax any fears you may have about mixing colors and understanding color theory language. In this class, you will complete a complex color wheel over four days.
The completion of this color wheel will give you familiarly with the terminology used in color theory and teach you how to identify colors while learning the basic “recipes” required to make said colors.
This class is designed to be user friendly and slow paced, so put your fears aside if you have no art/painting experience!
ALL SUPPLIES WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR!
Day one: Exploring the Primary and Secondary Colors.
Day two: Mixing tertiary colors.
Day three: What is tints, tones, and shades?
Day four: Exploring neutrals and extra time/practice.
All supplies will be provided!
