This class is an exploration of classical uses of oil paint with contemporary approaches and subject matter. We will focus on some quick sketch approaches, and spend most of the class painting the human form and face.
Basic knowledge of oil painting is helpful but not required.
Oil paints - black, white, umber, sienna, red, blue, green
Paint brushes
Painting surfaces- we will go through several smaller canvases or panels (4-6)
Linseed oil
Gamsol (no turpentine)
