Students will be able to operate the sewing machines and sergers, including the industrial sewing machines, embroidery sewing machine and use sewing notions correctly. The student will be able to ask the instructor for guidance to complete individual projects including, but not limited to: “art to wear”, clothing alterations, fitting and pattern alterations, costumes, garments, repurposing clothing, mending and repairs, machine embroidery, quilting, gifts, outdoor clothing and equipment, backpacks, purses, and totes.
