In this beginning hand embroidery workshop, students will have the opportunity to embellish a piece of clothing or accessory with a unique embroidery design. Students will either stitch directly onto the object or create a patch to embellish the object. Students will learn how to stabilize fabric and use basic stitches to follow a pattern. To comfortably finish this project in the time allotted, students should know how to thread a needle and be comfortable with basic hand sewing.
