Ancient cultures defined rites with garb and headdress. From a native warrior with eagle feathers to maidens in scattered flowers or the glint of gold. That tradition is still alive so vividly in our modern festivals. From Carnival to Burning Man we adorn ourselves in artisitc headdress that is bold, beautiful & creatively us. In this class, students will work with the most modern of millinery supplies Thermoplastic to mold a fan shape headdress then develop into bold statement piece. Students will learn how to shape thermoplastics; headdress anchoring & design
-Glue gun with glue sticks
-Scissors
-Hand-held steamer
-Artificial flowers & feathers for personal use (random selection will be provided by instructor)
