It may help to have experience using a compass and straightedge, but it isn't required. Since this class is offered to all ages, we can find an optical illusion that works with your skill level!

Learn about the history of Op Art and the science behind various optical illusions. After learning how they work, select one style and create your own illusion. Various materials will be provided, including acrylic paint, ink and brush, and markers. Create a colorful illusion, go for a classic monochrome black and white, or create an artwork that makes people see colors that aren't really there! You decide. With this class, the magic of art illusions is in your hand.
