Join Heidi Meissner as she guides you through the process of learning how to work in clay using the potters wheel. Throwing on the potters wheel is what many people think of when the subject of clay is discussed. Heidi will teach students how to make functional pottery and show a range of techniques for decoration using colored slip, underglazes, stains and glaze.

Learn to throw functional pottery forms and/or advance skills on the potters wheel. Learn to finish forms: trim, carve, and decorate using slips and glazes.

Teen Studio Night is open to youth ages 14-17. Light dinner is included!

Clay and tools will be provided for each student.
