Learn to make and print copper etching plates using the non-toxic techniques developed by Heinrich Boer. We will explore lines, aquatint and more as methods of plate-making in this old-meets-new discipline.

Learning Objectives: Students will learn a variety of etching techniques using non toxic methods to create copper etching plates. We will also focus on intaglio printing technique. If the student is experienced, we will explore more advanced and experimental approaches to making and printing plates, as is appropriate.
