Monotype Blast is a monotype sampler for those who would like to explore basic printmaking without a lot of technical detail. Make small simple prints suitable for gifts or framing. Optional instruction in mixing ink and preparing paper. Ghosts and color layering are discussed. Beginners welcome!

Morning: B&W prints with ghosts
Afternoon: Color prints, layering

Materials List:
1-2 sheets printing paper, such as Rives BFK, or Arches or Canson Edition or Arnhem. There are smaller, lightweight versions of Rives or Arches if you are on a budget.
1 small tube black OIL BASED etching ink, litho ink, or any good printmaker's ink Brands such as Charbonnell, Gamblin make nice ones, Speedball will work if you are on a budget.

Optional:
1 small tube white ink, similar to above
Assorted colored inks, similar to above
apron
Nitrile gloves
Small 2" brayer ( The League has larger ones)
