Portfolio Building, Framing and Show Preparation are the goals for people who have had some printmaking and want to explore new techniques, such as Chine Colle.
Week 1: Refreshers with color, Registration
Week 2: Viscosity printing
Week 3, 4: Chine Colle
Week 5: Framing and Sampler of advanced techniques
Basic Printmaking paper and some professional grade paper, black and white ink provided, along with Chine Colle supplies, solvents and newsprint.
Optional:
Assorted colored inks (there are often leftover inks at the League that you can try before you buy)
Mylar acetate sheets for stenciling
Tarlaton printmaker’s cloth
Apron (a few available at ASL)
Nitrile gloves
Small 2" brayer- soft rubber works best for this ( The League has larger ones)
A rag or two for each session
Plastic grocery bag to take your rags home.
