Caffeine is a staple in most of our lives and if you drink enough coffee or tea, and some point you have stained something you loved. But, have you ever stained that something and then thought “Could I paint with this?”. Even if you never have, your instructor has, and this class answers that question with a loud “YES!”. This one-day class explores how to paint with coffee and tea using watercolor methods and mixed media to create a lovely work of art to take home.
The first half of class will be spent exploring watercolor painting techniques with concentrated coffee and tea while you work on a small painting of your choice. The second half of class is a lovely teatime spent eating tea snacks and catching up with friends while your artwork dries.
This relaxing class is perfect for a summer date or friend’s day out! You get to make art and enjoy some delectable treats, what could be better than that!
All supplies will be provided but you are welcome to bring a personal sketchbook, watercolor paper, paint brushes, and/or drawing media of your choice.
All food provided will be vegetarian and some items may be made by the instructor. All food provided may have common allergens present and/or have come in contact with common allergens. No Alcohol - Save the liquid fun for home, we don’t need it, art is our poison of choice!
