You will leave this workshop with a sweater and the knowledge and confidence to make one on your own from any pattern. You will know how to use a serger sewing machine and how to properly use one when working with thicker fabrics.

Let's cut and sew a sweater from knit fabrics. Patterns will be provided (80's-90's patterns). In the first class we will discuss the basics of cutting out a pattern, understanding sewing fundamentals when working with knit fabrics, i.e selvage, warp and weft, cutting on a grain line. We will also learn how to use the serger sewing machine for a professional finish.
