This watercolor class will take your portraits to the next level. Learn how to mix paints to create different skin and hair colors. Explore watercolor techniques for creating wrinkles of older people and the smooth skin of young children. Eyeglasses, facial hair and different hair styles will also be covered.

Weeks 1 and 2: Portrait of a young girl with curly hair and glasses

Weeks 3 and 4: Portrait of a mature man with gray and black beard and hair

Weeks 5 and 6: Portrait of an older woman with a weathered face and wrinkles

*gamboge yellow (want yellow orange color some brands look brownish)

-Arches 140# paper cold press watercolor paper
-WC Paint Brushes: synthetic or golden taklon, short handle
*Round #8 or #10 brush
*Round #2 brush for detail
*Flat 1 inch brush
