All supplies provided and students are also welcome to bring their own tools and materials to create textures.
In this course, instructor Desi Brown will teach students how to carve unique designs into 1" x 1" blocks of clay, creating texture stamps. These stamps will be used to decorate clay slabs, which will be formed into cups and mugs. On the final day, the class will use ceramic stains and washes to accentuate the textured surfaces of the work.
