Combine our class mindfulness observation technique with art media warm ups, basic drawing lessons and sketchbook time to draw in the height of the summer at the Gardens. No experience necessary, or come as a seasoned artist to refresh your practice. Participants will be given their own 9x12 mixed media sketchbook with a sturdy cardboard backing which serves as an acceptable mobile drawing surface.. A variety of drawing/painting supplies will be offered, including one session of optional fabric specific supplies. Feel free to bring anything that makes mobile drawing/painting easier for you such as a portable chair, garden kneeling pad, visor hat,water bottle. We will be mobile in our exploring.

Objective: Enhanced ability to focus on imagery that compels new expressions through mindful observation and mixed media exploration.
