This class will focus on teaching the fundamentals of outdoor landscape painting using oil and/or pastel. Pastel and oil are great landscape sketching mediums—their consistency of color and quick handling are valuable when working outdoors. We will cover concept emphasis, shape, line, values, colors, edges and the importance of an emotional involvement. All workshop days will be spent in the field (weather permitting).

SPECIAL NOTE: Instructor will provide students information regarding class locations prior to the start of class.
