This workshop explores slowness as a generative method in visual art. Working through drawing, painting, and mixed media processes, participants investigate how sustained attention and gradual mark-making can deepen form, composition, and material presence. Each session begins with a brief perceptual grounding exercise and moves into extended studio time focused on layering, repetition, and surface development. Emphasis is placed on process, material dialogue, and compositional clarity rather than speed or product-driven outcomes. The course supports artists interested in cultivating depth, restraint, and intentionality within their visual practice.
