In this one day, 3-hour workshop we will explore various color combinations, and theme orientated designs using found images and mixed media materials. By making collages in warm, cool, single color, black and white and more, we will explore how to see color, shade, tone and composition. Open to all abilities.
Learning Objectives: Students will be given a color challenge to choose from. Using the provided collage making materials including tissue paper, color pencils, markers, and vintage magazines images, students will discover how to see color, design and composition. This class will generate ideas on how to create finished paintings – abstract, representational, realistic or surreal.
