I plan on having student work on two canvases developing one in gray tones and one in a color of your choice . Reworking each canvas continually while experiment with all the elements of art. Exploring the visual components of color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value.

This class explores tools and techniques in painting to help you develop a painting style that is within you and is your own. Tailored to develop your own painting voice. We will explore Color, Value and Hue
and Composition by painting on multiple canvases simultaneously and developing new ideas over the workshop.
Utilize various medias within the paint, such as raw charcoal sketch, wax, or texture. Have fun and play, try new techniques and materials with your painting.
Suggested material list:
2 painting panels or canvases sizes you prefer 12” x 12” , 30” x 40” , 30” x 30” , 18 x 24 etc.
