The mohawk separated from it's ethnic origins was a symbol of non-conformity in the 20th Century. In the 21st Century, some individuals still prefer the shaven hairstyle but we will instead create a headdress fit for ritual, festival or costume alike.

Students will learn how to form a thermoplastic base, anchor / place /shape/style feathers and variety of fibers.

Each student will leave class with one headdress (wearable sculpture) of their creation.

The morning of the class will be spent learning the basics of headdress design & how to work thermoplastics.
Then the afternoon is a fury of creativity.

Victoria Regina

Each student will be given a basic starter kit of thermoplastic and feathers.
