Students will create humorous, quirky characters and scenes with a variety of colored and printed papers. Accurate cutting, gluing and strong, balanced design will be stressed as students manipulate shapes and colors to maximum effect.
Students will first complete small collage studies to illustrate emotions and feelings followed by several character collages employing surrealist juxtapositions.
All materials will be provided.
