In this class, we will use a relief printmaking technique to make prints with underglaze on ceramics! We will carve small linoleum blocks, talk about how to carve the back of the block to make it work with a round surface, and make prints. You can use linocuts to produce patterns or use an individual block with an image- whatever you like. Everyone will leave with some printed test tiles, your linocut blocks, and the ability to reproduce the technique on your own! If you love printmaking, this is a great chance to try printing on clay.
