Saturday morning sketchbook in Englewood

Students will work on developing a consistent sketchbook practice and learn how to get back on track when we lose motivation or when life gets in the way. We will spend time exploring a variety of media and a few different methods for utilizing the sketchbook, including journaling, skills practice, how to make studies for larger works, and creative play.
Instructor will discuss, show examples, and demo techniques in the beginning of class and the rest of class will be spent creating in students’ own sketchbooks in their media of choice, with experimentation highly encouraged.
