Experience drawing from a live model, in the round, and guided by instructor Mikael Olson.

Art of the gesture is like energetic play of the spirit of the piece. The best way to loosen one up is to go to a short pose and pump up those muscles. Students will be encouraged to be spontaneous and fearless.

Learning Objective:

Understand how light and shadow reveals the form of a figure and gesture, lending emotional depth.

- pencils
- erasers
- charcoal

Students are welcome to bring additional supplies of their own that they prefer to work with.
