If you are unable to attend and would like to contribute, we’re asking our community of artists to donate handmade ceramic ice cream bowls for the event. Bowls can be thrown or hand-built and should be roughly 1lb and less than six inches wide. Please bring your completed bowls to ASLD by April 30, 2024. Unglazed, bisque-fired bowls may be donated.

Sunday Sundae 2025 is coming June 1st.

***Sunday Sundae invites members of the ASLD community to mingle in our courtyard while enjoying Sweet Action ice cream out of a bowl handmade right here at ASLD! We'll also have family-friendly art activities and all the sundae toppings you've ever wanted. This fun event is also a fundraiser that supports all of ASLD’s programming.***

We invite ceramic artists with a basic hand building knowledge with clay in donating their time to help us achieve our goal of 200 bowls for the upcoming Sunday Sundae event in June. This free "open studio" style class is set up for 1 hour time slots, which will allow individuals to come in and practice making bowls and enjoy conversation with fellow ceramic artists.

***There will not be guided instruction.***

Bowls will then be finished stamped with a custom ASLD stamp and glazed by our staff.
