Food-tography is an exhibit highlighting the art of photographing food. Today it's almost a habit for us to photograph what we cooked, what we ordered at our favorite restaurant or even foods we've grown in our garden. delecTABLE: Food-Tography welcomes your food-tastic expressions showcasing the beauty and artfulness of food through the medium of photography. This exhibit is a celebration of Month of Photography and complimentary to 'delecTABLE': An exhibit of national ceramic artists’ functional tableware. delecTABLE is our national juried biennial exhibition dedicated to the fine art of dining. This is a juried exhibit. This exhibit does not have a submission fee.

Food-tography
Food-Tography is an open call show to members and non-members of ASLD. You do not need to be a member or enrolled in classes at Art Students League of Denver to submit work to this exhibit. Artists are allowed up to two submissions each. Artwork submitted for this exhibition must be available for purchase with ASLD retaining a 40% commission on sales and 60% going to the artist. The online submission form will be available from DECEMBER 10 – JANUARY 24, 2025. If you have trouble with this form you may request a PDF or fill out the form at the registration office. Submission form may close early if there is no longer space available. Payments are made to artists for sold work within 30 days after the close the of the exhibit.
Each artist must complete the Open Call Entry and Label form here for entry online.
- Artwork should not exceed dimensions of 16" x 20” FRAMED
- Work must be ready-to-hang or install.
Two Dimensional Art & Framing Parameters
- All photographs must be framed.
- NO plastic frames. Black or neutral toned frames only.
- Frames must be in good condition.
- Works on canvas must be framed or have gallery-wrapped, finished edges with no visible staples.
- Hanging wire must be firmly attached to the back with screw-eyes or D-rings Wire should not exceed the top of the frame.
- NO saw-tooth hangers.
- Please deliver your artwork to ASLD securely and as you would want it to be packaged for a buyer: Wrapped safely in protective material such as paper or bubble-wrap if necessary.
- Submissions that do not meet theme and/or submission guidelines of the exhibit will be excluded at the discretion of ASLD and artists will be notified by the exhibition curator no later than JANUARY 26, 2025.
Artwork may be dropped off at ASLD’s Registration Office January 31st - February 8th, 8:30a.m.- 6:30p.m.* Please note ASLD closes at 4:30 p.m. on the weekends.
