We know many of our members and instructors by their primary medium or sometimes signature works. However, many of them are multi-disciplined and knowledgeable in other mediums! ASLD is thrilled to present an opportunity for those members to show us the work of their many hands in an exhibit that encourages artists to showcase multiple works of different mediums that celebrate their range, ability and “MULTI-VERSATILITY”.

MULTI-VERSATILITY
Submission eligibility: Open call for faculty, students, and members of ASLD.
Theme: Artists are allowed up to three submissions. Each submission must be a different medium, somehow combine mediums and/or demonstrate their range.
Medium(s): Medium is the artist’s choice. This exhibit is designed to showcase the many disciplines of each artist. Artists are not relegated to one medium.
We’ve come to know many of our members and instructors by their primary medium or signature works. Many of them are multi-disciplined artists fluent in many mediums that we don’t typically get to see! Artwork submitted for this exhibition must be available for purchase, with ASLD retaining a 40% commission on sales and 60% going to the artist. The online form will be available from May 5-19, 2025. If you have trouble with the form, you may request a PDF (email Holly Hurd at h.hurd@asld.org) or fill out the form at the registration office. Submission form may close early if there is no longer space available. Payments are made to artists for sold work within 30 days after the close of the exhibit.
- All photographs or works on paper must be framed.
- NO plastic frames. Black or neutral-toned frames only.
- Frames must be in good condition.
- Works on canvas must be framed or have gallery-wrapped, finished edges with no visible staples.
- Hanging wire must be firmly attached to the back with screw-eyes or D-rings. Wire should not exceed the top of the frame.
- NO saw-tooth hangers.
- It is recommended that submitted works are wrapped in protective material such as paper or bubble-wrap (wrapping will not be returned).
- Submissions that do not meet theme and/or submission guidelines of the exhibit will be excluded at the discretion of ASLD and / or exhibition curator
Artwork may be dropped off at ASLD’s Registration Office May 26–June 1 8:30AM-6:30PM. Please note ASLD closes at 4:30PM on Saturday and Sunday.
