Teaching Philosophy I believe in hands-on immersion with a heavy emphasis on both shop safety and creativity. Artist Statement Twenty-two (22) years ago I set out on a journey to find my life's passion. After taking a metal arts workshop, the sparks began to fly. I love working with metal. The rawness and strength of this medium excites me. It induces respect and fills me with awe. While the rigidity challenges me to push beyond my comfort zone, the flexibility amazes me. The diversity of the different metals, patinas and finishes is an on-going learning experience. I use my works to express to the world who I am. If you want to know me, look at my art: I am subtly hidden with each piece. http://www.ironmaidenofdenver.com/
