Gregg Deal is an artist and member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Nation. HIs body of work, from performance art to murals and more, explores what it means to be indigenous in the 21st century. His outdoor installation in the courtyard of ASLD considered the identity of contemporary indigenous people in the US and how this identity compares to the gaze projected onto them.
