Join ASLD in the South of France, at the beautiful La Napoule Art Foundation*, for a special atelier working alongside contemporary realist painter Daniel Sprick. Sprick’s meticulously executed portraits and figurative compositions combine muted palettes to achieve a sense of stillness and slow contemplation. His paintings feature a range of subjects, from still lifes of objects to interiors and urban and pastoral scenes. Participants will spend five days painting with Sprick, learning from him as he works. Each day may include some demonstrations and discussion of his techniques while you work together in this beautiful setting. The evenings will include critiques. Please note, this will be a self-guided experience for much of the time.
Price includes: Accommodations at La Napoule’s Villa Maguerite, meals, demonstrations, discussions, and critiques.
Prices do not include airfare or airport transfers (flight in and out of Nice recommended), or optional day trips.
