In celebration of all things book-related and their mutual admiration for writing and artist books, poet Michael Henry and book artist Rachel Basye will lead participants through several writing prompts to produce several short works, which will then be integrated into a simple, handmade book form. Consider the final product a work of art, a chapbook, a one-of-one. The workshop will include a mixture of prose and poetry writing exercises and a variety of one page and accordion book forms.
No experience in writing or book arts is necessary to participate, required supplies will be provided.
