Part of our Visiting Artist Series, Rosy Petri will be leading a Gel Printing workshop on September 20-21 from 9AM-4PM.
Workshop Description:
Join Rosy for an introductory workshop on mixed media exploration with the gel plate. We’ll learn the fundamentals of gel plate printing using everyday objects to create paper ephemera and collage fodder through monoprinting. Participants will learn how to make homemade gel plates, printing on textiles, and mixed media collage techniques using materials created in class. Ideal for design-minded artists wanting to incorporate more depth into their creative practice, or for folks curious about exploring the possibilities of mixed media and surface design, the workshop focuses on process over outcome.
