Part of the ASLD Visiting Artist Series, join us for an artist talk with Master Kente Weaver, Kwasi Asare.
Born in Ghana, Asare was the son of the owner of Dento Mills, a center of weaving in the 1950s. Growing up in the weaving business, Asare, learned how to weave and started creating his own designs. His weavings have been shown in exhibitions internationally.
