Teen Studio Night

Every Friday from 5:00–8:00PM

Enrich and deepen your individual artistic voice in a community of artists who want to venture beyond where school art classes go.

  • Learn to think creatively and critically about what inspires you.
  • Consider what the influence of music and other media can have on the creative process.
  • Learn how to communicate and express your ideas visually.

Teen Studio Night is a set of open studio art classes for high school students in 2D arts, printmaking, ceramics, and fiber arts. TSN provides students with resources to improve their technical skills and conceptual viewpoints while connecting with other young artists. Students have 3 hours of open studio time to work on projects of their choosing. With the guidance of a professional artist, free materials, and the space to explore their artistic interests, students have access to a broad range of opportunities for only $20 a month. TSN instructors provide demos and discussions about a variety of artistic practices and offer individualized feedback to each student. Best of all, dinner is included every Friday!

* Those working on portfolio preparation for art school are especially encouraged to join.
