For this open call exhibit, ASLD members & faculty are invited to submit works that conjure all things cozy. In an effort to muffle the noise of the outside world, our goal is to bring the hearth here to ASLD for our community during the holiday season.

If you have trouble with the submission form, you may request a PDF or fill out the form at the registration office (ASLD main branch). Submission form may close early if there is no longer space available.

ASLD retains a 40% commission on sales with 60% going to the artist. Online form will is available from October 5-23, 2026. If you have trouble with the form, you may request a PDF or fill out the form at the registration office. The submission form may close early if there is no longer space available. Payments are made to artists for sold work within 30 days after the close of the exhibit.


Medium: This exhibit is open to all media. Submissions that do not meet the theme and/or submission guidelines of the exhibit will be excluded at the discretion of ASLD and /or the exhibition curator.

  • Each artist must complete the Submission Form and Loan Agreement Form here for entry online or in-person at the Registration office at time of drop-off.
  • You will be asked to upload a photo of each submission.
  • Please make your file name your name and/or the title of the piece
  • Art work should not exceed dimensions of 12x12x12
  • Work must be ready-to-hang or install.
  • Pedestals will be provided if necessary. Any additional equipment needed for display must be provided by the artist.

Artwork may be dropped off at ASLD’s Registration Office between October 26-November 3, 2026, 8:30AM-6PM*. Please note ASLD is open from 12-5PM on Fridays and from 10AM-4:30PM on Saturday & Sunday.

  • All photographs or works on paper must be framed.
  • NO plastic frames. Black or neutral toned frames only.
  • Frames must be in good condition.
  • Works on canvas must be framed or have gallery-wrapped, finished edges with no visible staples.
  • Hanging wire must be firmly attached to the back with screw-eyes or D-rings Wire should not exceed the top of the frame.
  • NO saw-tooth hangers.
  • It is suggested that submitted works are wrapped in protective material such as butcher paper or bubble-wrap (wrapping will not be returned).
  • Submissions that do not meet theme and/or submission guidelines of the exhibit will be excluded at the discretion of ASLD and / or exhibition curator.
