Youth ages 6–17 are welcome to apply for a scholarship to attend Summer Teen Camps and Ongoing Classes. We are pleased to offer these scholarships to provide equal access to art education in the community. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to families who demonstrate an interest in the arts, dedication to learning, and financial need.
From ongoing Saturday classes to Summer Teen Studios, emerging young artists can find plenty of guidance and serious art instruction at ASLD.
Virtual Teen Studio Night
Every Friday from 6:30–9pm
Enrich and deepen your individual artistic voice in a community of artists who want to venture beyond where school art classes go.
Consider what the influence of music and other media can have on the creative process.
Learn how to communicate and express your ideas visually.
Teens ages 14–17 have the chance to build their leadership skills at ASLD as Youth Representatives on the Board of Directors. On a team with other teen ambassadors, they work together to build awareness with other teens about ASLD.
We’re looking for motivated art lovers to join our Teen Committee:
- Attend monthly meetings to generate ideas, plan events and strategize ways to get other teens involved at ASLD.
- Get invited to fun parties and events, like inspiring exhibit openings and workshops.
- Contact Joann Asakawa-Huntz, Program Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-778-6990 x1107.
Photo Release Policy:
By registering your child for class, you authorize ASLD to use your child’s artwork and/or photo in future ASLD marketing/promotional materials, including electronic formats.
