OCT 4–NOV 29 2019| This exhibit features a collection of international works from acclaimed Korean artist, LIM Ok-sang, who critically engages folklore, the people and politics in his work.
OCT 4–26 | Kevin Snipes approaches ceramic arts with a lot of energy, imagination and creativity. An exhibition of his work will be on display at Plinth Gallery during October where you can experience the breadth and detail in his work.
AUG 16–SEP 29, 2019 | ASLD invites members and faculty to highlight the very best in paper and ink—whether scratched, developed, etched, stenciled, added or collaged.
Greg Dye visits ASLD to lead a special Atelier Workshop designed to stretch your painting muscles and discover how you like working best with palette knives and wet-on-wet techniques.
OCTOBER 11–13, 2019 | Lim Ok-sang is a native of South Korea. His art, using writing, painting, metal, paper and clay, speaks out against injustice and the forces of destruction, as well as illustrating the value of life and the importance of our environment. Ok-sang visits ASLD to discuss his alternative approaches to materiality.
OCTOBER 3–6, 2019 | Kevin Snipes enjoys a nomadic life, constantly making art no matter where he is. Snipes visits ASLD to demonstrate his high-energy methods for ceramics and storytelling.
JUNE 21–AUG 2, 2019 | A unique interactive exhibition featuring the fiber and crochet-inspired artwork by Denver’s collaborators Ladies Fancywork Society. We invite you to play!
