Students of all levels can choose from courses in hand-building or wheel throwing, all taught by some of Colorado’s most celebrated ceramic artists.
ASLD’s highly-qualified ceramics studio staff maintains a regular schedule of kiln firings, ensuring that students are able to complete their work and receive finished products within a timely manner.
Registration for Ceramics courses opens the day after monthly registration (usually the second Wednesday of the month). You can see a full list of registration dates here. Please note that some ceramics courses are held offsite at private studios, so be sure to check the location when registering.
From molding anatomically-correct human heads, to creating found-object assemblage pieces, to welding large-scale metal sculptures, our sculpture courses give students the necessary skills to translate their vision into 3D works of art.
Classes are available for all levels and are perfect for artists looking to expand their work off the canvas.
Please note that some sculpture courses are held offsite at private studios, so be sure to check the location when registering.
