Join ASLD in the South of France, at the beautiful La Napoule Art Foundation for a unique artistic experience focused on collage and mixed media, taught by Denver artist Rick Griffith. Over the course of the workshop, we will interact with the surrounding world for inspiration and color palette ideas. The quietude of the South of France will be a meditative backdrop for writing and composing personal narratives. We will create space to be changed by the landscape and gather in the studio where making is the daily ritual, and reflection and storytelling are currencies in abundance. Participants will enjoy everything this unique geography has to offer including the guidance of a seasoned traveler, forager, and collagist.
Prices include accommodations at La Napoule’s Villa Marguerite; all breakfasts & lunches; 3 dinners, including one Michelin-starred restaurant; local wine selection; art materials, instruction, and critique.
Prices do not include airfare, airport transfers, or the remaining 4 dinners.
Full payment for this trip is due by June 1, 2024. REGISTRATION FORM
