Whats Happening at ASLD

ASLD extends a unique invitation to members to make us question reality by showing us your artistic slight of hand through expressions of illusionist artwork.  

For this open call exhibit, ASLD members & faculty are invited to submit works that conjure all things cozy. 

Food-tography is an exhibit highlighting the art of photographing food. Today it's become commonplace for us to photograph the dishes we've prepared, our order from our favorite restaurant or even the harvests from our gardens. This exhibit is a celebration of Month of Photography and complimentary to 'delecTABLE': An exhibit of national ceramic artists’ functional tableware.

Submissions Accepted: December 7, 2026 – January 18, 2027

Exhibit Dates: February 19-April 9, 2027

Exhibit Type: Open to both members and non-members. This exhibit does not have a submission fee. 

Artists Notified of Acceptance: January 25, 2027

Artwork Delivery: February 1-February 6, 2027 *Please note ASLD does not open until 12 noon on Fridays and closes at 4:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays
